Magic Pennies
I have been really thinking about Miriam’s jam jar idea, and just her willingness to save up her pennies for Uganda – 7 year old Miriam inspired the whole Jam Jar’s for lent idea at church as she started saving up her money by putting her pennies in a jar to help out in raising money for the youth going to Uganda, and a few weeks ago told everyone at church she already raised over a pound! It really struck me that whatever we give, however rich we are or however much we have, all we have is like a few pennies to God, but like God we love to see children give from the little they have, I think Father God loves the little we give, and I think He loves to multiply it. So I’m going to give from the little I have and pray it stretches!
