This is an all age-service with sung worship, teaching and prayer. We are all together for the first half of the service and then the children and younger youth go into their own groups for the second half. Each group is led by two volunteers who are DBS registered. The service finishes around noon. After that we hang out around the bar, drink coffee and eat cake. Our morning services are led by a team of people from The Bear so every Sunday is unique. They are led from the front but everyone is encouraged to participate and everyone is welcome.
Children and Young People
Children of all ages are involved in the life of The Bear.
During our morning service we run a programme for various different age groups as follows:
- Gloworms 0 - 2
- Fireflies 3 - 4
- Electric Eels 5 - 7
- Flame Fish 8 - 11
- Youth 12 - 14
Our children and youth meet at different times as well, and the best way to find out about that is to come along to one of our services.
