Bear Essentials Week Beginning 11 November 2018
‘Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.’
Sunday Morning Service – How do we follow last week’s weighty subject of intersectionality? (Check out the website if you missed it). By looking at Ephesians 6:1-9 of course. This Sunday Mark and Chine dedicate their son Keir to the Lord, so let’s all stand with them and pray for Keir. The service starts at 10.30 am, with prayer beforehand at 10 am.
Sunday Evening – 6.30 pm tonight. Help is always needed and appreciated to cook, serve and wash up. From 4.30 pm in the kitchen and from 6 pm to serve and wash up. Please email Richard at email@example.com or sign up at https://tinyurl.com/bear-eveningservice
Christmas Boxes – Box by box by box the front of the church will be adorned with festive scenes, lovingly designed and produced by home groups, schools and any other sort of community gathering. And all ready for our Christmas sing-a-long on 23 December (3.30 pm). Nothing says Christmas like a bit of creative competitivity. So, bagsy a box and a song before they’re all gone.
Psalms and Stretches – next Saturday 1 December 10.45 am. (This will be the last one of 2018). Bring a mat/towel and a water bottle. £5+ with profits going to the Building Seed fund. Thursday classes at 6.30 pm continue until 13 December. (Please talk to Ruth for more details and prices).
Baptisms – next week 18 November. Eva and Chery have signed up, got their towel bearers and are ready to take the plunge. Any last minute stragglers who get the call, grab Paul or Tessa for a chat on Sunday.
Student Worship Night – worship night at the Bear for students or anyone who can pass as one. 7.30 pm Monday 19 November. See Becky B for more details.

Join us for festive favourites and sing-a-long carols from 4-6pm. Refreshments available to buy.
