Who works at the Bear?
Everyone who comes to the Bear works at the Bear in one way or another. But we employ some people to work throughout the week.
The church is lead by Paul Adlington. Paul is married to Emily and they have three children. He has led the Bear since 1999. When not standing at the front of the Bear he is usually found trying to mend something with power tools or running marathons
Iain, or pastor number two as he is known, works alongside Paul to make the Bear happen. In his varied career Iain has been all over the shop, serving God. He now lives with his family in South-East London and also works at a charity
But who you ask organises these men? Well Tessa Chapman does. Tessa works across lots of different areas of the Bear, making services happen and most else. She lives with her husband Paul and family.
The staff are helped by a leadership team on a practical basis and a team of trustees.
