A New Bear Housegroup - exploring & actioning creative ways to generate social good. Following the model of the Craftivism Movement and 'gentle protest'; using craft as a tool for activism. First meeting will be on Tuesday 20 Sept at 8pm and all are welcome.


The Bear Book Club - the next book will be 'Generation Y, Spirituality and Social Change: Putting Spiritual Values into Action' edited by Justine Afra Huxley. Meet to discuss on Tuesday 27 September. More details on Facebook or from Bex.

  

The Ragged Project - we are hoping to sign contracts, move loads of stuff, find a new home, bring in more funding... all before the end of September! so, let us fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen

The Lindisfarne Gospels Pilgrimage - David Pott is leading a challenging 130m journey on foot from the Tees to Lindisfarne, carrying a replica of St Cuthbert's coffin containing a facsimile of the Lindisfarne Gospels. Help needed - Marjie's new book, 'Living to Finish Well' will be published next month and she's looking for people to help take part in a short promo.  All you will need to do is answer two or three questions – all really simple and no trick ones among them!  Filming will be on Saturday 8 October in Peckham. You would be needed for a short time between 10am and 2pm.
