Sunday Morning Service - this week we'll meet at The Bear in Deptford in the first of our 'Summer Sundays'. 10am for prayer and 10.30am for worship. Please note, there is no electricity, so bring your own drink... and the bathroom facilities are 'sparse'.

Early Morning Prayer - open to all, just switch on and join in - Monday to Friday on Zoom from 7-7.30am
Summer Sundays at 10.30am:
Sunday 4 August in Greenwich Park for movement, meditation and an amazing view. Meet at the One Tree Hill Vista Point (nearest gate is on Maze Hill). Wear clothes you can move in, bring a drink, snacks and picnic if you want to.
Sunday 11 August in Deptford for an inspirational audio adventure. Meet outside The Bear site. Phone and headphones needed. Some walking required.
Sunday 18 August in Sydenham for a bible brunch. Meet at the Joneses, bring brunch food and drink.
Sunday 25 August in Deal for worship in the wild. Contact bex@thebear.tv for meeting point. Bring a picnic and beach accessories.
Eat Your Way Down The High Street - the next evening will be on Wednesday 21 August at KiliG (££) on Resolution Way (just off the High Street!). Book in with bex@thebear.tv to avoid disappointment
Camping 2024 - all are welcome to book a pitch at Kingsdown near Deal, in Kent (www.kingsdowncamping.co.uk) and join Bex for some informal church family gatherings from Friday 23 - Monday 26 August. Please let Bex know if you're booking in
Refocusing Faithfulness - over six sessions, we will explore a biblical basis for LGBTQ+ inclusion in the church. The course will begin on Wednesday 11 September from 7pm at the Leander Centre in Deptford. There will be food, bible study, conversation and prayer. The Ragged Project
Our building project is nothing short of a miracle. The fabulous studio flats will become home to 33 young people over the summer. We still need a large amount of money to finish the church and community space, and have employed a fundraising consultant to work on the big bids. But there's always room for community fundraising and we've got a few things going on...!
