March Update – The Shaftesbury is ready for the preliminary building work. The main hall will still be in use until the bulldozers arrive. We will meet in person when restrictions are lifted, whenever and wherever that might be. We continue to pray for the registration of J49 and the release of funding.
Sunday Morning Service - prayer is from 10am (but it’s gonna feel more like 9am because the clocks go forward on Saturday night!) then the virtual doors swing wide at 10.20 am with sung worship until 10.30am. Please come wearing your favourite outer garment! Put your name on your device before you sign in. Any issues, message The Bear on 07707 524977.
Breakout Rooms - will follow straight after the service. The rooms are not led or monitored. If you have any concerns about anything discussed, please contact one of The Bear leadership team (Bex, Chine, Hugh, Iain, Paul, Richard or Tessa).
Family, friends and neighbours are very welcome to join on Sundays. Do ask them to contact The Bear in advance for ID and Password. We can then explain the protocol and send them the codes.

Lent Prayer - meeting to pray Monday to Saturday at 7 am. Final week!
Tenebrae Service - on Maundy Thursday 1 April at 8pm. A chance to prepare for Good Friday and Easter Sunday in the ‘gathering shadows’. Please join with your video on and in candlelight, bringing some way to wash or cream your hands and if you want to break bread together afterwards, bring something small to eat and drink. Please email Alex at if you would like to do a reading during the service.
Easter – the Youth are having an Easter Egg Hunt on Good Friday at pm on Blackheath, and the Electric Eels and Flame Fish are having two separate Easter Egg hunts on Easter Saturday at pm on Hilly Fields. That’s a lot of eggs. More details and protocol from info@thebear.tv
