Sunday Evening Service - there's a real need for people to join the circle team. If you would like to find out more, speak to Richard or Sally. Easter at The Bear - there will be a Tenebrae ('gathering shadows') service on Maundy Thursday 14 April at 8pm. Contact Alex if you want to do a reading. This service will be in person. On Easter Sunday we will be 'al fresco' in Giffin Square at 10.30am (not Hilly Fields, or in The Bear or on Zoom)

Bear Cubs, English Friday's and Women's Bible Study - all closed for the school holidays to return after Easter

 

Time Out For Parents - we are starting a brand-new parenting course at The Bear on Wednesday 20 April at 10am. The course is free, with a £10 suggested donation for the resources. Contact tessa@thebear.tv to find out more or book.


New Cross and Deptford Free Film Festival 2022 - this year, The Bear will be screening two Oscar winners - 'Encanto' at 10.30am on Sat 23 April and 'Summer of Soul' on Tues 26 April. We need help! Come and serve, welcome and enjoy (contact tessa@thebear.tv)

 

Cheese and Wine - EVERYONE is invited to eat cheese and drink wine (or juice) on Friday 6 May from 8pm at The Bear. Call it a thank you, call it a last hurrah, call it a lovely way to spend an evening. The Leadership Team would LOVE to see you there. The Only Way Is Essex - we have booked Birch Hall Adventures in Frinton-on-sea for another Big Bear Camping Weekend (15-17 July). It's booking up fast! Cost for the weekend is £30 per adult and £20 per child
