The Bear WhatsApp Broadcast Group - for weekly updates and more, add The Bear Church 07707 524977 to your contacts, then message the number and ask to join the group.

Giving - is part of our worship. We want to continue to pay our staff, our bills and support our local community and our cross-cultural workers. We are now also paying rent on three buildings. The Bear Church bank details are 'Deptford Ragged Trust' HSBC Account no. 21361317 Sort Code 40-02-25. To support local people in food poverty through the Evelyn Social Supermarket please give to the general pot - it's less admin and therefore less costly. The Ragged Project

Deptford Day - building on our High Street relationships and praying for the future and the finances of The Ragged Project. All welcome on Wednesday 26 July from 1.30pm. Contact bex@thebear.tv to join in

Give Us Your Gold - big thanks to Janice who has raised a tidy sum selling personal effects for the Project pot.

Tea Towels - our TDRT fairtrade, organic cotton tea towels will be available to buy at Ascension on Sunday. £8 each, £15 for two or £20 for three (cash or card).

Worship - download or stream Dave's new songs and raise money for the Project. We've had the first cheque in - thanks to all who have supported! The link is here: https://linktr.ee/davidwinter

We are 94% of the way to funding our new building. This is positive, but we're not yet where we need to be. Cashflow is tight! A large proportion of our funds have come from or through personal contacts - do you know someone who may want to invest? Or someone who may know someone...? If you need any facts and figures, a template letter or publicity resources, contact Bex or Richard. For the glory of God and the good of the poor.
