Sunday Morning Service - at the Ascension. 11.15 for prayer, 11.45 for tea and coffee and 12.00 for worship. There will be groups for adults, youth and kids.

Bank Holiday Walk - all welcome on Monday for a five mile stroll. Meeting at Ightham Mote carpark, Sevenoaks, at 10.45am. Alternatively at the Mote Cafe at 2pm for tea and cake. Please let the Alston's know if you are coming to one or both. They will contact you if the weather takes a turn for the worse and plans change.

Early Morning Prayer - open to all, just switch on and join in Tuesday to Friday on Zoom from 7-7.30am

Eat Your Way Down The High Street - the next evening will be at 'Marcella' (£££) on Thursday 20 June. More details to follow, but you will need to book in with bex@thebear.tv as space is limited

Big Lunch - on Sunday 23 June, we'll be taking it to the streets with our annual community meal in Giffin Square. There'll be food, music and hopefully a sneak peek at The Ragged Project. More details to follow...

The Ragged Project


Operation Fit Out - if you can spend an afternoon, a day, a week, getting stuck in to painting, plumbing, tiling, fetching or carrying at the site between Monday 3 and Friday 14 June please contact info@thebear.tv or talk to Paul Adlington. We also need a lot more money, so fundraising inspiration would be welcome. For the glory of God and for the good of the poor.


The Ragged Quiz - on Sunday 9 June, Mel will be hosting a pub quiz at Aunties Ballroom, Resolution Way in Deptford.
